Dr. Andrea Gayle-Bennett, Massachusetts Deputy Sec Dr. Andrea Gayle-Bennett, Massachusetts Deputy Secretary of the Executive Office of Veterans’ Services had an amazing speech, with lots of resources for anyone who served in the military. Her ask was pretty straightforward: - Don’t automatically assume it was a male who served in the military, it’s an outdated stereotype. - A good conversation starter is to just ask, "Did you serve?" - Far too many veterans have no idea so much is available to them. - Let Wakefield vets known that Dave Mangan is the town Veteran’s Service Officer.
