Our club is continuing the tradition of focusing on local service during the holiday season. This year, our club will complete a food drive, adopt a family, collect items for local teens to benefit Toys for Tots and ring the bell for the Salvation Army.
Adopt-A-Family
Doing good locally….our club recently adopted a family from Wakefield for the holidays after learning a single mom and her son needed some items for the winter. We purchased all of the items on the boy’s wish list and then threw in a few things for mom too. Thanks to the Salvation Army for making the connection for us!
Salvation Army Bell Ringing

Members of our Rotary Club ring the Salvation Army bell each year. Photo (left to right): Rotarian Mike Sullivan, Barbara Worley and her family, and Rotarians Elaine Guaetta and Lisa Roderick.
This year, again, we’ll volunteer over 40 hours of ringing for the Salvation Army bell. We invite our friends and family each year and we enjoy making this a Rotary Family opportunity.

This year our Rotarians donated over $500 in gift cards, toys and sports equipment for local pre-teens and teens.
Toys for Local Kids
Each year at our holiday party, our Rotarians bring toys and gift cards for local pre-teens and teens. Again, we delivered.
