In late August, the Wakefield Rotary Club hosted a fun co-meeting with Lynnfield Rotary featuring team trivia. Mixed teams of both clubs competed in a Jeopardy-style game with questions about Rotary, music, and geography among the topics. The trivia game was hosted by Past President Amy Luckiewicz with assistance from Wakefield President Kathy and Lynnfield Co-President Christine Travers.
The book “Kindness is My Superpower” was donated to both the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library and Lynnfield Public Library on behalf of both clubs. The winning team got to sign the book plates and represent the clubs’ donation.
Wakefield President Kathy Boyle said, “We were so glad to have such a great turnout and welcome Lynnfield. Our club actually sponsored them!” She added, “Having fun together during our meeting is something we do at least every few months and it was special to us to have Lynnfield Rotarians join in.”
