The Wakefield Rotary Club recently recognized 15 of its members who have reached perfect attendance during the Rotary year 2013-14. Although the minimum attendance requirements by Rotary International have eased, many of the Wakefield Rotarians take pride in attaining or maintaining perfect attendance. This is achieved by attending regular weekly meetings, by visiting other clubs both locally and world-wide or by attending an e-meeting online. “This just demonstrates the commitment our members have to Rotary and the community,” commented long-time member Lisa Roderick. Roderick along with fellow members Bob Kimball, Dick Reidy, Bruce Donovan, Shibu James, Tom Stapleton, Amy Luckiewicz, Bruce Chimo, Elaine Guaetta, Suzanne Bowering, Judy Gordon, Fred Singer, James Tarpey, Frank Fiorentino and Jay Curley have accrued a cumulative number of 227 years in perfect attendance. Curley received special notice for his 43 years straight of perfect attendance.
