Support Sandy Relief…Again!
The Wakefield Rotary Club is supporting a SECOND collection of items to be delivered to the New York and New Jersey area to support Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.
Moulton Park
We were happy to support this new park project with a large donation and help with installation. Rotarians Bruce Donovan, Eric Sidmore, Shibu James and Amy Luckiewicz were there to help put the structures together. Rotarian Melanie Head captured the event by reporting for WCAT.
Veteran’s Day Celebration
In honor of Veteran's Day we joined up with the Reading Rotary Club to welcome Morley Piper, a WWII veteran who was involved in the D-Day invasion. Mr Piper spoke in great detail and emotion about his experiences in France. Later in that meeting we acknowledged our Rotarian veterans and raised money for Hurricane Sandy Relief. [...]
Halloween Event
We welcomed Gary Manley and his colleagues from Nightfall Paranormal to Harringtons to speak about their experiences in paranormal investigation. All proceeds benefited the Beebe Library.
